Plento is aiming to bridge the gap between nutrition and indulgence while addressing other issues with food production such as sustainability. We use a customised blend of insect and plant protein flours to deliver a snack that will be rich in protein, have a complete amino acid profile, low in carbohydrates and saturated fats and high in dietary fibre, iron, calcium and vitamin B12. It will be free of gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and soy to meet dietary preferences of a wide range of consumers and conveniently packed to meet the demands of the busy, on-the-go lifestyles of consumers.
