Plastr is a tool for building Instant Local Communities for shared spaces. It enables administrators of offices, co-working spaces, hostels, universities, etc to create exclusive communities where their members can discover who near them, share information and collaborate, create events, and find activity partners. Communities can also be built on various interest areas. The communities can be deployed instantly and can be restricted to those on a shared space's WIFI or other specifications. Plastr is available on iOS and android. We use location and network checks to restrict access to only those authorized to be part of the community We are experimenting with machine learning to improve content relevancy and member interest matching.
