Pipefish is about solving the problem of trusted recommendations and reviews. By helping users find people who share their preferences we remove the problem of questionable motivations behind a recommendation or review. Using apps (mobile, Facebook, etc) Pipefish solves taste related problems for users. That data is then used to build a taste graph that is used to power improved recommendation engines for e-commerce customers. Since the e-commerce customer only ever receives the product codes to recommend, no user data is ever transferred to anyone. Users get a better experience while maintaining their privacy. Customers get better recommendations without the liability of handling sensitive user data.
