PhilterIt is a browser extension for Chrome that automatically filters email messages into brand and personal visual icons within Gmail. The extension enables its users to gain full control over merchants, organizations, institutions, newsletters, and blogs that send them important brand content. Its drop down feature allows users to toggle quickly between personal and brand messages. PhilterIt was launched by Robert Wollner and Avi Levine in 2011 and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
