[Philantro](https://www.philantro.com) is a donation platform tailored for small-to-mid sized nonprofits that processes, tracks and provides intelligence on donors and transactions. Tools made available to nonprofits include enterprise-level automation, data visualization, email marketing and donor self-service. It's rumored the original name for [Philantro](https://www.philantro.com) was Philanthro (as in Philanthropy) but due to [Brandon's](http://www.crunchbase.com/person/brandon-bissoon) tendency to misspell, Philantro was registered. It was later pointed out by Will Levan, a friend he ran the idea across and who now serves as a business strategist.
