About company

PGAFF is dedicated to change the path of some of the world's problems and strengthen communities through catalytic philanthropy. It takes an unconventional approach to tackle hard problems by integrating technology, data, policy change, and powerful storytelling to drive positive change in our community and around the globe. They use this approach to some of the world’s toughest problems, from restoring ocean health to protecting wildlife to combatting global warming to strengthening communities. We build tools for impact – and then we pilot them. And if the data shows that approach works, we seek to scale them to deliver enduring impact. It was established in 1988 by Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Paul G. Allen and his sister Jody Allen. It is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
