Pais Digital promotes the development and dissemination of a digital culture and economy to improve the quality of life of people. In November 2000, a business mission was carried out to the technological development centers of Silicon Valley and Seattle in the United States, led by the then President of the Republic, Ricardo Lagos Escobar, who was accompanied by 100 Chilean businessmen and entrepreneurs, who had the opportunity to meet the parent companies of the leading companies in the technology sector.
