Origami Energy is an ambitious new technology company, created with the objective of developing the technology and financial mechanisms (i.e. the marketplace) that are required to connect, control and actively manage a large network of existing energy generating / energy using / energy storing assets connected to the electricity grid. By increasing the utilisation of existing assets they: - generate new revenue streams for their customers and partners; increase the marginal capacity of the network; - improve security of supply; - and reduce carbon emissions by reducing the need for "dirty" peaking generation plants and enabling more renewables to be connected to the grid.
