Onyx Payments operates a global payment network and is dedicated to the creation of authentic services including commission receipt and disbursement; foreign currency exchange; invoicing; and reconciliation and tracking. Onyx Payments was founded in 1992 under Hotel Clearinghouse Corporation and in 1996 renamed to Pegasus Financial Services (PFS) expanding global reach to process commissions and payments in multiple currencies. In April 2013, H.I.G. Capital, LLC acquired PFS from Pegasus Solutions Inc. to transition into an independently operated company and strengthen its position as the leading provider of hotel commissions processing worldwide.
