On the Media is an online platform presenting weekly, one-hour National Public Radio program devoted to media criticism and analysis. It is being heard on more than 300 public radio stations. This program is produced by [WNYC](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/wnyc) in New York City. On the Media has won Edward R. Murrow Awards for feature reporting and investigative reporting, the National Press Club's Arthur Rowse Award for Press Criticism and a Peabody Award for its body of work. On the Media was launched in 2001 and is headquartered in New York, N.Y.
