You could say Art Oberto was born to make jerky, but truth is, he didn’t actually take over the family business until he was sixteen. Every day before school, Art would ride his bike to deliver the finest cured meats anyone in the Seattle area had ever tasted. As a company, we’ve changed a lot since those humble beginnings, but the way we make our delicious all-natural jerky hasn’t. We still hand-select each ingredient and compose our rich, smoked flavor from a harmonious mixture of delicious hardwoods. And Art still won’t put his name on the outside of a single package, unless he approves of everything that went into it.
