OARS Academy is an alternative higher education program that aims to start by helping young adults in Singapore stuck in a toxic cycle of stress, anxiety and discontent to live a life of purpose by helping them discover their interests and life’s mission. We do this through a personalized curriculum comprising of lectures, projects, real-world internships, individual mentors and overseas trips, designed to equip students with a process to find out who they are and with that, build a portfolio to showcase what they can offer to future employers and business partners. We seek to become Singapore’s first inclusive higher education program to cultivate a generation of passionately curious and intentionally engaged citizens and changemakers, driven to co-create solutions to solve society’s problems, easing our government’s burden and pushing humanity forward.
