Their Oaken platform makes 'ACORNs', for each physical application within the real world. Their IoT blockchain platform design uses Nodejs to interact with the gpio of the machine where hardware can be monitored and controlled. Their secure hardware environment utilizes Secure Elements in each acorn to protect against external threats. Acorns each have a special purpose, but can be easily scaled and replicated for multiple applications. For Their UAE Govhack hackathon submission they have created an automobile acorn, that we’ve connected to a Tesla, and a tollbooth acorn. The Tesla and the tollbooth interact via RFID, the ethereum blockchain and IPFS to seamlessly pay toll.
