The nVerpix's Organic Light Emitting Transistor enables the cost-effective manufacturing of OLED displays: - Solves the "OLED backplane problem" by simplifying the sub-pixel to just two components (typically >8). - Ultra-simple 2-TFT pixel architecture improves manufacturing yields and lowers costs. - The fundamentally new transistor architecture is highly stable to bias, temperature, and illumination stress instabilities -> a problem for ALL conventional transistors. - Vertical architecture allows for high-aperture ratio pixels -> better image, longer lifetimes. - Compatible with all form-factors (especially beneficial for large-area and flexible/transparent displays)
