Nuts Groep is supplying electricity and gas to connection points in the Netherlands and Belgium. The Nuts Groep supplies various brands with energy at low prices and without hassle. This requires scale. That is why Nuts Group strives to consolidate energy companies in the Benelux, in addition to organic growth. The company now has around 600,000 customers in the Netherlands under the labels 'Budget Energy' (www.budgetenergie.nl) and 'NLE' (www.nle.nl), and more than 100,000 customers in Belgium under the label 'Elegant' (www.elegant.be). Before 2020 the Nuts Group wants to break through the border of 1 million customers. In 2018 the company will invest more than € 800 million. The Nuts Group is 50% owned by investor Waterland.
