Northern Freight Services were established in 1978. The company is still privately owned and the owner and his family have a high profile within the business. Based in Peterlee they can offer their customers 180,000 square foot of internal warehouse space, along with 9 acres of external storage space, the site is covered by 24hr security and has full internal / external CCTV. In terms of distribution, haulage and fleet resources they have a mixed fleet of some 48 vehicles ranging from small vans to 44 ton articulated units & double deck trailers, all vehicles are fitted with tracking systems. They can offer their customers emergency freight deliveries, both full and part loads and being part of The Pallet Network means They can also offer their customers a full local collection & delivery service for single or multiple pallets for onward delivery both locally and nationally on a next day or economy service.
