Nooz is a mobile and web-based application that empowers anyone to share, read, and discuss news happening in their neighborhood and around the world. News stories appear as bubbles on a map, showing the very location where they occured. Users decide which news is presented on the map by voting stories as 'relevant' or 'not relevant.' Nooz connects people to their community, and communities to the world. We hope Nooz will help create a more engaged and peaceful world by empowering people to be apart of the newsmaking process.
