The app can be classified as Preventative Healthcare Technology. Essentially it is an aggregator of all health related fora and social media groups on the internet. In the UX we have chosen for a social media architecture vs a forum setup because it is our purpose that people really connect on the worry they might have. The app is location based to further stimulate connecting, also to an offline level. To keep any barriers to entry as low as possible (think of shame or work), the app is fully anonymous for the people who want to.
