Nieman Reports is home to the Nieman Watchdog Project that promotes and elevates the standards of journalism. For more than six decades, it has explored what it means to be a journalist, examined major shifts in the industry, and shared with its worldwide audience articles about the rights and responsibilities of news organizations. Written for and by journalists, Nieman Reports can be read in print and online. Its team is composed of reporters and editors, photojournalists, cartoonists, and producers whose experiences and insights speak to the challenges of rapid change and the enduring principles of journalism. Nieman Reports is published by the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University and is based in Cambridge, M.A.
