Kuwait Times is the first English-language daily newspaper of the Arabian Gulf region, offering local commentary, news, and analysis as well as entertainment, sports, and comprehensive features. Its thirty-six-page broadsheet provides in-depth reporting on local events and business news, analysis and editorials on local, regional, and international issues, and entertainment and sports news and features. Kuwait Times also publishes a free 80 page tabloid. Founded by Yousuf Saleh Alyan, the newspaper was first published in 1961 and is based in Kuwait.
