Neutron Technologies commercialize pioneering work by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and Explosives and Narcotics Detectors, both of Dubna, Russia, in the use of labeled neutrons for identifying explosives and narcotics. Several leading research centers and governmental agencies—the All-Russia Research Institute of Automatics, the Bochvar All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for Inorganic Materials, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, and others—contributed to product development and will continue to play a role as need for new products evolves.
