Nessa is Asia’s most innovative hearing-aids dispenser with the worthy goal to democratise audition. Aging is inevitable for baby boomers and 10% of them suffer from hearing loss according to WHO. Yet only 15% of them wear a hearing-aid due to stigma, inconvenience, costs and bad reputation. We address these hurdles by offering subscription-based hearing-aids, bundled with invisible technology to remotely personalise them to each member’s specific hearing loss. Nessa established in Singapore in 2015, after raising a substantial Series A investment, placing it as SEA’s top 5 most funded Health-Tech startups. Nessa’s fellows serve its members across three offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. Nessa was voted top 10 Health-Tech Startup in 2017 by CIO Advisor APAC Magazine and it has been selected as a finalist for the Innovation of the Year and Best Smart Care Tech awards at the upcoming 5th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2017.
