The National Clothing Retail Federation of South Africa (NCRF) represents the interests of retailers who sell clothing, footwear, fashion accessories, cosmetics, and related items. The federation engages with government, consumer bodies, and labor organizations on issues affecting sustainability of member operations and of suppliers and initiates research on challenges facing the sector. It promotes awareness among members of government incentives for the local manufacturing industry and of other initiatives to ensure sustainability of the local supply base. It discusses education initiatives with organizations representing the interests of both consumers and of financial services businesses.
