The Natural Resources Defense Council is a non-profit environmental organization in the United States. It is also focused on fostering sustainable communities. The Natural Resources Defense Council was founded in 1970 and is based in New York, New York. It operates additional offices in Santa Monica, California; Washington, District of Columbia; and Beijing, China.
