National Association for Law Placement (NALP) is an educational association of over 2,500 legal career professionals who advise law students, lawyers, and law offices and schools in North America and beyond. It provides recruitment and retention services. NALP focuses on 3 fundamental stages: benefiting all law students and lawyers through a fair and ethical hiring process, helping law students and lawyers be successful by providing support from professional development and legal career professionals, and serving its clients and communities through diverse and inclusive legal professions. Its members work to collect and publish legal employment data and information; and champion education and standards for recruiting, professional and career development, and diversity and inclusion. National Association for Law Placement was founded in 1971 and is based in Washington, District of Columbia.
