My-qup Medical's first product is directed to those patients that are affected by fecal incontinence. We are a team of two entrepreneurs from different disciplines – Laura, a Ph.D. in biomedicine and Anna, an engineer. We are united by a common objective: to help patients recuperate their quality of life. We started out together in d·HEALTH Barcelona of Moebio, a disruptive talent initiative where healthcare, business, technology & design meet to develop entrepreneurs and future leaders in healthcare innovation. It is the first biodesign program in Spain, affiliated with the prestigious Stanford University's Biodesign Fellowship. We spent two months of clinical immersion looking for real needs of the patients that are unsolved to this day and based on that developed and tested a product over the following months. Our vision is to create a company that helps to improve the daily lives of people. Our first product is directed to those patients that are affected by fecal incontinence.
