About company

There are millions of tons of “hard to recycle” plastics, synthetics and rubber being dumped into our landfills each year. In 2019, the U.S. plastic recycling rate is expected to drop to 2.9%. This is happening despite recycling programs being prevalent in 94% of communities and cities banning single-use plastic products. This is due to an underlying need for innovation in the recycling industry, the way we recycle plastic simply hasn't kept up with how rapidly we've improved the way we make it. Our current methods for recycling plastic aren't cutting it, they rely on plastic being cleaned and sorted and only work for certain types of plastic. At MWAVE Recycling we’ve developed a method that breaks down waste in a closed system and converts it into gas and liquid fuels in addition to freeing any metals bound to the waste. This technology allows the recycling of many materials that, in the past, were too problematic to be recycled.
