MSA Management Companies was formed in 2008 for the unique purpose of developing and managing out of network surgical centers. Once a site is selected for possible development, market research is conducted by our staff and a physician base is solidified. Architectual drawings and construction then follows. The MSAMC model is a two room (Class C) center focusing on orthopedic and pain management. The out of network model receives a higher reimbursement per case with less utilization than an in network center. MSAMC has been very successful with this model. Physician partners have seen a return on their capital within one year of the center opening
