The MR confon GmbH developed from the Leibniz-Institute for Neurobiology at Magdeburg (IfN), Germany, special lab for non-invasive brain imaging. They develop and commercialize high end medicine products for imaging diagnostics, especially for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). For that purpose, they closely cooperate with the IfN, with regional partners and well-known German manufacturers of microphones and head phones (network for medical technology "InnoMed")
