Mike McClellan songs have earned him an honoured place within the history of Australian music but it’s been a long time since Mike McClellan released a CD of new songs. A “best of” collection (Time. And Time Again) was released back in 2001 to the joy of many whose vinyl collections were wearing rapidly. However, his last release of new songs was The Heartland which came out through EMI back in 1990, so to finally have a collection of new material will satisfy the many who have asked over the intervening years about a “new album”.
