Advance MicroTurbines develops a microturbine for local generation of electricity from pressurized gases, in the range of 20-50W. It is considered to be the solution to the problem of the distribution of energy in inaccessible areas. Microturbine is an "energy harvesting" system that exploits the energy dissipated by the gas during a rolling process. This energy is captured and transformed into electrical energy available for on-site use.
