Microco.sm is a platform for discussion boards: like tumblr, for forums. Discussion boards are the most compelling way to bring together communities with shared interests. Microcosm's mission is to improve the technology that powers discussion boards, and use this foundation to create a better experience for communities. Founded in late 2012, Microcosm raised £50,000 on the crowdfunding website Seedrs. The alpha product was released privately in May 2013. A public beta is currently in development.
