Methaneo specializes in the development of collective biogas projects based on biomass of agricultural and agri-food origin. Anaerobic digestion is the fermentation of organic matter that produces energy through the biogas rich in methane released by this process. The company favors "territorial" biogas projects. The specificity of this type of installation lies in the association of a large number of local partners: suppliers of biomass and heat recovery (industrial, farmers and communities), unlike individual anaerobic digestion on the farm which usually involves a single actor.
