MetCare is a network of doctors, nurses and specialists for seniors insured through Medicare. Metropolitan Health Networks, Inc. ('MetCare') began operations as a physician practice group in Florida in early 1996. Their first managed care contract was with Humana in South Florida. They soon grew to manage all of Humana's Medicare Advantage customers in the Flagler and Volusia counties.
