Memorial Production Partners LP was formed to acquire, produce and develop oil and gas properties in the United States. Their primary business objective is to generate stable cash flows, allowing them to make quarterly cash distributions to their unit holders and, over time, to increase those quarterly cash distributions. They believe their properties are well suited for their partnership because they consist of mature, legacy oil and natural gas fields with long-lived, predictable production profiles, low decline rates and modest capital requirements. The partnership properties consist of operated working interests in producing and undeveloped leasehold acreage and in identified producing wells in North America, and non-operated working interests in producing and undeveloped leasehold acreage.
