MEDCAT is a technology-based company founded in collaboration with the University of Alicante, which is now responsible for the manufacturing and marketing of our catalyst, and that could revolutionize the tobacco industry. It is an amorphus silica mesoporous catalyst, that when mixed with the tobacco blends, being present during the combustion process, reduces drastically around 70% the emission of toxic components (TAR, CO and nicotine).
