Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) is the Australian trade union and professional organization that covers the media, entertainment, sports, and arts industries. The organization’s members include people working at TV and radio stations, cinemas, entertainment venues, recreation grounds, and journalists, actors, dancers, sportspeople, cartoonists, photographers, and orchestral and opera performers as well as people working in the public relations, advertising, book publishing, and website production industries. Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance was founded in 1992 and is based in Redfern, New South Wales.
