MDChat was developed by Mobile Health One, a national healthcare communications technology company founded by respected neurosurgeon and successful entrepreneur John Abrahams, M.D. While building the largest neurosurgery practice in New York’s Westchester County, Dr. Abrahams was often frustrated by his inability to reach existing colleagues or referring professionals but found existing platforms were nothing more than social media tools with no true patient care, regulatory compliance or practice productivity benefits. This frustration led to a promising, innovative solution: MDChat, the first HIPAA-secure communications platform designed to improve workflow productivity within and between healthcare environments.
