As of February 2003, NetPlane Systems, Inc. was acquired by Motorola, Inc. Formerly named Harris & Jeffries, NetPlane Systems is a networking software provider. The company provides source code for high-speed networking protocols to over 200 major networking manufacturers, OEMs, and integrators worldwide. Netplane was founded in 1990 and is based in Dedham, Massachusetts.
