marKoub.ma is a service that lets travelers find, compare, and buy inter-city bus tickets online throughout Morocco. It also enables traditional bus companies to sell their tickets online without any investment in technology, a very important factor in a market where over 85% of buses operate without a digital ticketing or information system. The Moroccan, inter-city bus tickets, market size is around €400 million, but marKoub.ma’s vision is to take on the €80 billion international market by duplicating their experience in other countries, especially developing ones where bus operators have little or no access to technology, which makes tickets booking a struggle for travelers.
