Manel provides process lines for applying porous, inorganic, and non-metallic nanostructured coatings to aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and zirconium surfaces Processing lines for applying inorganic, nonmetallic ceramic coatings to metal surfaces will be the main product of this project. The technology was developed by a group led by Professor Anatoly Mamaev, doctor of chemistry. Micro-arc oxidation technology provides resistance to wear (two to eight times greater resistance), corrosion, and heat and improves the decorative properties of aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and zirconium components. This opens new uses for the metals and reduces production costs. The technology is safer for the environment because it is less likely to explode and produces no cyanide or nickel/chrome waste.
