Mama’s Box was born in the mind of Matteo (Italian) and Virginia (Spanish) one day in UK when they decided to organize a dinner “Spain vs Italy” and it took us 2 days to get only 50% of the ingredients they needed. For the rest of the ingredients they asked their mums after they gave up. Sometimes living abroad is complicate. You miss too many things. They cannot bring your family and friends to you in the UK, BUT They can bring the best food from Spain and Italy, the one you miss the most. They spent 6 months in Spain to find the best food at the best price, the one that will make you remember Spain after one bite (or dream about it, if you’ve never been there). Say “welcome back” to the home-breakfast, the long dinners and of course, say “welcome back” to the lazy Sundays (or lazy Tuesdays that seem like Sundays).
