The Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education (JHCCGHE) supports clinical care and research training in resource-limited settings. It operates with four goals: development of in-country expertise and participation of its experts; impact multiple levels of health care delivery; promotion of locally acceptable, but high, standards for “certification” of medical expertise; and stress continuing education. JHCCGHE also has distance education programs in development for healthcare providers in Ethiopia, India, Zambia, and Panama. The center was founded in 2005 and is based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States.
