Cochise Family Advocacy Center, Inc. was the vision of Lori and Mike Rutherford, who recognized and responded to the need to help victims of sexual abuse, assault and neglect in Cochise County. Lori and Mike brought together representatives from child protection, law enforcement, prosecution, family violence prevention, school administrators, medical personnel, and Cochise County, and shared their vision of a safe place where victims could receive the services and support they need without the exhaustion and trauma associated with traveling to other areas of the state.
