LocAsian Network’s proprietary technology uses GSM Cell Tower signals to pinpoint a mobile phone user’s location. This is a more accurate and accessible solution for location based service providers as very few handsets have built-in GPS and most GPS units still struggle to work well indoors. LocAsian aims to pave the way for the Location-Based-Service market by providing an open bridge for mobile location capabilities through the Application Programming Interface, enabling existing applications to be location aware.
