LivImplant GmbH develops and sells innovative cell based therapies for leasons and diseases of tendons, joints, cartilage and bones, focusing on stimulating the self-healing powers of the body by applying stem cells and growth factors. As a spin off from the Experimental Surgery and Regenerative Medicine department of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (www.experimed.de) and a close collaboration with the Veterinary Clinic of the University of Giessen LivImplant benefits from the latest scientific proceedings. First applications are available for curing lameness with horses and dogs.
