Since its founding in 2010 by two UCLA alum, Lexi Capital has creatively applied client first practices to its fast growing precious metals firm. After studying the recurring destruction caused by the housing and credit markets, unscrupulous bankers and corporate backed political leaders, the two entrepreneurs searched for a way to bring simplicity and transparency to the physical precious metals market. For their final class project, the two graduates created a business plan for a precious metals firm that allowed retail buyers to purchase physical gold and silver with the same type of assurances and protections previously reserved for the large investment houses and hedge funds on Wall Street. After a 1st place finish followed by a round of startup funding from family and friends Lexi Capital and the Gold Assurance Plan:registered: were launched.
