Letterpart Limited was formed in 1991. The company was based in Reigate, Surrey, for 22 years and is now based in Caterham on the Hill, Surrey, and has grown to become a UK leader in automated XML typesetting. Specialists in high volume and complex publications, both loose-leaf and bound, XML, SGML, Word (including .docx) and RTF formats can all be handled. Where Word files are supplied, Letterpart uses customised transformations to convert to XML for typesetting. This XML can then be round-tripped in order to provide the customer with the data in its original format, if required, after paginating. Publication types include tax work, law books, journals, technical documentation, educational books, catalogues, dictionaries and directories.
