The length of these short term sublets is usually between 2 and 10 months. At this point the service is entirely free. The apartment listings on the web site are generated by tenants, brokers, and landlords who register and then post the listings themselves. Leasebreak.com also sends out a weekly email with recent postings called "The Leasebreak List".
