It’s a new day for medical care in Jacksonville. Unity Health on Monday completed the $7.7 million purchase of the North Metro Medical Center from Allegiance Health of Shreveport, La. Unity agreed in November to buy the hospital, which closed in August 2019. Unity Health-Jacksonville is expected to start seeing patients by next spring. The
